About Us

The Rusty Feed Bucket was born on the idea of finding better products for my herd. I was tired of the box-store products not satisfying the needs of my nationally award winning rabbit herd or my horses. 

All of the products sold in my store have been hand selected and personally used. If I don't trust it, like it, or satisfied by it, I won't supply it to others! 

Meet the Owner

Ashley is a 2015 graduate from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences and a minor in Equine Science. She has been raising and nationally competing with her herd of Flemish Giant rabbits since 2004, where she has been awarded numerous awards and finished the #2 Top National Breeder for the past 3 years. Most recently, she produced the Best of Breed Open Flemish Giant at the 2025 ARBA National Convention in Indianapolis! 

She is also an avid equestrian and has been enjoying the company of horses all her life. Most recently, she has rekindled her love for mounted shooting thanks to some very close friends! 

When it comes to the health and wellness of her herd, its top priority.
